June 21, 2010 at Korakuen Hall, Mammoth Sasaki would make his return to the ring for the first time in 16 months as well as his FREEDOMS debut against rival and former partner Daisuke Sekimoto. Mammoth and Sekimoto would start the match by running right into each other with powerful clotheslines as soon as the start of the match. They would begin chopping each other hard across the chest with Mammoth then delivering a clothesline to knock Sekimoto out of the ring. Mammoth would go to the outside and hit a flying clothesline off the apron as the chants crowd would chant loudly for Mammoth. Kamui would be by Mammoth Sasaki's corner and Ricky Fuji would eventually join in screaming for Mammoth. Mammoth and Sekimoto would exchange clotheslines and chops to one another as Mammoth would eventually try for the 29 Years Old but Sekimoto would manage to slide away and place Mammoth in the Torture Rack with Mammoth managing to escape. Sekimoto would go up to the top rope and hit a frog splash but as the referee would go to cover Mammoth would manage to pick up Sekimoto during the count and hit the 29 Years Old but Mammoth would be unable to put away Sekimoto with that. Sekimoto would end up finishing the match as he would end up hitting Mammoth with a German Suplex and although Mammoth would manage to kick out of it once, he would be unable to kick out of it the second German Suplex as Sekimoto would get the pinfall victory over the returning Mammoth Sasaki. Sekimoto would end up grabbing the mic to tell Mammoth "Welcome Back" as the FREEDOMS were very vocal while cheering for Mammoth during and after the match as Mammoth was now back.

July 11, 2010 at the Yokohama Nigizawa, Mammoth would make his return to Big Japan, but it would be at a D-Dash show which is designed for their younger workers to show what they have. August 1, 2013 at the Chiba Blue Field, FREEDOMS would run at the Kaientai Dojo's home building and as a result Mammoth and his partner Keita Yano would team up against Tatsuhito Takaiwa and K-Dojo's Yuji Hino. Mammoth and Hino would go all out on each other with chopping each others chest. Mammoth's chest would be blistering red afterwards with Hino's not being much better and even after exchanging chops back and forth that would cause Mammoth's chest to be so blistered they would get in another chopping exchange again later in the result. Hino would tag out to Takaiwa who would square off with Mammoth with Mammoth tagging in Yano who would end up getting caught and hit with a Fire Thunder and then hit with a Death Valley Bomb for the win for Hino and Takaiwa.

August 25, 2010 at the Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth would not enter in the Death Match Tournament and instead would open the show in a non tournament 6 man Hardcore Match along with Ricky Fuji and K-Dojo's Ryuichi Sekine against Brahman Shu, Kei, and Ken45° with Sekine wearing an FMW t-shirt due to teaming with Mammoth and Ricky. They would all brawl around ringside until Mammoth on the apron would attempt to chokeslam one of the Brahman's through a table until Ken45° would manage to make the save by hitting Mammoth across the back with a kendo stick. Mammoth would instead be placed on the table with one of the Brahman jumping off the turnbuckle onto Mammoth laying on the table with the table not coming close to breaking. Sekine would get beaten down for a majority of the match until Mammoth would come in and make the hot tag. Mammoth would go for the 29 Years Old but Ken45° would stop him. This would lead to Mammoth, Ricky, and Sekine being tied up with Shu, Kei, and Ken and delivering a triple suplex to the Brahman's and Ken. Mammoth, Ricky, and Sekine would then pick up them all and deliver a triple Kamikaze and made a triple pinfall with all three kicking out. But while Mammoth and Ricky were on the outside the ring brawling with Kei and Ken45° it would leave Sekine alone with Shu who would end up delivering a Zombie Kick and then getting the win with a Fireman's Buster on the chair for the win.

Kamui would throw Mammoth in the crowd and throw a chair at him. Mammoth would eventually get sick of the smaller Kamui being in control and would over power him and throw him in the crowd and then charge at him with a chair. They would brawl to the aisle when Kamui would go and get a ladder and hit Mammoth with it. Kamui would place the ladder against the two stands and climb up and deliver a Moonsault to Mammoth on the aisle ramp. Mammoth would come back by picking up the ladder and tossing it at Kamui. Mammoth would pick up Kamui and hit a running powerbomb on the ramp sending Kamui over the ropes and into the ring. Mammoth would place the ladder against Kamui's crotch and hit it with a chair. Mammoth would then grab a chair and place it over Kamui's throat and begin choking him with the chair. Kamui would fight back delivering a hurricanrana with Mammoth landing on the ladder as well as an Arabian Press and then finally would place a chair over Mammoth's head and hit him with his own Mammoth Home Run. This would be enough for Mammoth would get up and angrily throw a chair at Kamui's face and then finish off Kamui with a 29 Years Old on two chairs stacked on a ladder for the win. Mammoth afterwards would comment that Kamui had gotten much stronger in the two years since their last match in August 2008 for WMF's last show.

August 29, 2010 at Korakuen Hall, Mammoth and Daisuke Sekimoto would reunite their tag team for the first time since February 13, 2009 as they would take on the team of Yoshihito Sasaki and Yuji Okabayashi. Mammoth would go up against the man he help trained 10 years earlier in Yoshihito with them exchanging slaps before Yoshihito would tag in Okabayashi. Okabayashi would square off against Mammoth for the first time with them exchanging chops and punches to the chest. Mammoth would face off against Sasaki again as they would both begin exchanging chops until Yoshihito would out of nowhere hit a spear on Mammoth and make the tag. Mammoth and Sekimoto would go at it again with Mammoth would come charging hard at Sekimoto with a lariat right away but Mammoth would get flipped over attempting a powerbomb. They would again meet each other with hard clotheslines knocking each other down and both tagging out. Mammoth and Shuji Ishikawa would go at it right away against each by swinging chairs at one another until all six men would be brawling all over the building. Kamui would end up bringing out a ladder and with the help of Mammoth holding both Hoshino and Masaoka he would deliver a moonsault off the ladder placed on top of the two bleachers on the ramp. Mammoth would place the ladder on his head but before he could use it as a weapon he would be met by Ishikawa's foot to the face. The brawl between all the wrestlers would lead outside Shin-Kiba where Ishikawa and Hoshino would hold on to Mammoth, Kamui, and GENTARO while Masaoka would climb on top of the Big Japan moving truck and flip off the truck on to all five wrestlers. They would end all back in the ring with Kamui delivering a hurricanrana to Hoshino. Mammoth would feel the end near as he would nail Hoshino with a Mammoth Home Run, a lariat, and then finish him off with a 29 Years Old on a stack of chairs for the FREEDOMS win.

September 21, 2010 at the Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth would take on GENTARO in his first main event singles match for FREEDOMS. Mammoth would no longer be protected the way he was while having the WEW World Title or with how the Apache Army had booked him the last year before his injury. Takashi Sasaki was now fully in charge and that would mean Sasaki would be booked below Takashi Sasaki and his friends Jun Kasai and GENTARO. This match would be the prime example that Mammoth was not going to be booked as a top guy in this promotion nor did it seem like Mammoth really cared the same about pro-wrestling since coming back. Mammoth would end up losing to GENTARO after GENTARO would get the win with a Rolling Clutch Hold.

October 11, 2010 at the Sapporo Teisen Hall, Mammoth would have another big challenge as he would take on Tatsuhito Takaiwa. Mammoth and Takaiwa would begin exchanging clotheslines with Mammoth ducking Takaiwa's and then clotheslining the back of his head. Mammoth would then nail Takaiwa with the 29 Years Old to pick up his first big singles win since his return as it would be Takaiwa's first singles loss in FREEDOMS over the past year.

October 17, 2010 at Korakuen Hall, Mammoth would return to Big Japan to team up with rookie Kazuki Hashimoto against Yuji Okabayashi and rookie Takumi Tsukamoto. Mammoth would completely over power the much smaller and younger Tsukamoto when pit up against Mammoth but Okabayashi would be able to hold his own as he would match power move for power move with Mammoth including both not being able to knock each other down with hard clotheslines. Mammoth would finally get the best of Okabayashi by delivering a powerslam to Okabayashi but would tag out to Hashimoto and Okabayashi would then be too much for the smaller Hashimoto as he would deliver a splash off the top rope finishing off Hashimoto for the win. This would turn out to be Mammoth's last Big Japan match after working for the promotion off and on for five years.

October 28, 2010 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth would team with The Winger and Kamui to take on the Kojika Army team of Kazuhiko Ogasawara, Brahman Shu, and Kei. Mammoth would be overpowering both Shu and Kei when Ogasawara would be kicking hard at Mammoth's knee. Shu and Kei would take advantage of Mammoth's injured knee and begin twisting it and turning it. Mammoth would overcome the attack with his power and just as he was about to powerbomb Kei he would be met with Indian black ink spit in his face by Shu. Shu and Kei would then grab a chair and begin smashing Mammoth's already injured knee with it knocking him out the rest of the match as Kamui would get tagged in. Kamui would take on Kei but would end up being hit by Kojika with an umbrella as Kei would then follow that up with the School Shooter for the win. Shu, Kei, Ogasawara, Kojika, and Antonio Honda would all begin attacking the injured Mammoth and Kamui when Ricky Fuji would rush to the ring to make the save but Ogasawara would go after him. Ken45° would then rush to the ring and make the save officially turning on the Brahmans and the Kojika Army to help clear the ring for Kamui, Ricky, and covered in black ink Mammoth.

November 25, 2010 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth and Kamui would team up to take on the team of Masashi Takeda and Madoka. This match would be setup because of the recent Kamui vs. Takeda vs. Madoka feud that had been going on the past few months in the promotion. Mammoth would square off against Takeda right at the start and although they would exchange chops to one another it would be later when Takeda would try to take out Mammoth's knee during the match by attacking it and placing him in knee locks trying to get him to submit. Mammoth would manage to tag out to Kamui but would be unable to help him while Takeda and Madoka would double team him. Kamui would manage to make it without getting pinned when Mammoth would finally be able to help him out. Mammoth would come in and chokeslam Madoka as Kamui would deliver a 450 Fire Bird Splash with Madoka kicking out. Mammoth would take it from there by finishing off Madoka with the 29 Years Old for the win. Mammoth and Takeda would get in each others faces right afterwards as Mammoth would grab the mic and challenge Takeda to a singles match next month for the Christmas Death Match show.

Mammoth would then try to whip Takeda into the barbed wire but Takeda would reverse it and send Mammoth through the barbed wire board instead. Takeda would then take a piece of the barbed and begin slicing Mammoth's forehead with it. Mammoth would try to make a come back but Takeda would end up spearing him through the other barbed wire board instead. Takeda would place the barbed wire board over Mammoth's body and deliver a flying drop kick on it. Takeda would then deliver a German Suplex to Mammoth with Mammoth managing to kick out. Takeda would try the suplex again but Mammoth would manage to over power it and break out of it and begin just swinging at Takeda's head. Mammoth would then deliver the Awesome Bomb and then finish Takeda off with the 29 Years Old on the barbed wire board for the win.

Mammoth would come right at Sasaki as the two would begin exchanging hard lariats towards one another just like they did back in 2001 in FMW. Sasaki would end up managing to knock Mammoth off his feet but as Sasaki would try to deliver a powerbomb to Mammoth he would end up getting picked up and dropped by Mammoth with a Fire Thunder Powerbomb. Mammoth would then tag in Miyamoto as Mammoth would nail a chokeslam on Sasaki followed by Miyamoto delivering the Moonsault. Miyamoto would fail to pin Sasaki with that but would come back with the Thunder Fire on Yoshihito Sasaki to eliminate him. This would leave Shuji Ishikawa against Mammoth and Miyamoto. Ishikawa would fight the two on one attack and end up hitting the Splash Mountain on Miyamoto to get the pinfall elimination resulting in Mammoth against Ishikawa. Mammoth and Ishikawa would end up exchanging hard lariats at one another but Mammoth would end up nailing Ishikawa with two 29 Years Old to eliminate Ishikawa and get the win for his team. This would be the biggest win for Mammoth since his come back and since he won the WEW World Title three years earlier as he was the sole survivor for his team in the main event of a big show at Korakuen Hall. His team would help him up and raise their hands in victory. Emi Sakura would then lead the New Years Celebration with everyone in the show in the ring to celebrate the start of 2011.

Mammoth would place the ladder over the crotch of Kishiwada and begin smashing it with a chair. Sekine would then attack Mammoth and hit him across the head with the WEW Hardcore Tag Title belt but as Sekine would charge at Mammoth for a clothesline Mammoth would grab Sekine by the throat and deliver a chokeslam before placing the belt across Sekine's body and challenging Mashimo to a singles match for a chance at the WEW Hardcore Tag Team Titles.

Mashimo would then place the table over Mammoth's body outside the ring and deliver a double knee jump onto the table placed over Mammoth. Miyamoto would pick up the baseball bat and hit a moonsault with the bat on Mammoth. Miyamoto would then try again but this time leave the barbed wire bat on Mammoth instead. This would turn out to be a mistake as Mammoth would get up with the bat in hand and smash it across Miyamoto's back. Mammoth would pick up Miyamoto off the top turnbuckle and deliver the 29 Years Old except Miyamoto would manage to kick out at a 1 count. Mammoth would get tagged back in and place Takeda in the corner where he would setup a chair against his crotch and then smash that chair with another chair. Mammoth would then place that chair over Takeda's neck and nail him with the Mammoth Home Run. Mammoth and Takashi Sasaki would then hit a Mammoth Home Run on Takeda at the same time. Mammoth afterwards would grab the mic and announce to Jun Kasai that he was entering the Death Match Tournament and call out Kasai for not being ready to compete in his own tournament. Kasai would follow that up by running the runs as fast as he could and flipping in the air to show that he would be ready for his Death Match Tournament.

Mammoth would not speak of the injury again although it would end up being a serious neck injury. Mammoth would be force to cancel his Death Match Tournament ironically after calling Kasai previously about not being ready for the tournament physically. Abnormal would continue attacking the SUSUMU following his match when Mammoth would make the save and going face to face with Abnormal. Abnormal would punch Mammoth while Mammoth would chop Abnormal's chest. Abnormal would grab Mammoth by the throat but Mammoth would kick low and grab Abnormal by the throat and deliver a choke slam. Mammoth would challenge Abnormal to a tag team match on December 25, 2012 at Korakuen Hall with Mammoth teaming up with The Winger, HIROKI, Ryuichi Sekine against Hido, Kenji Fukimoto, Captain Abnormal, and One Man Kru. Mammoth would still not look ready as he would still be in a neck brace following his injury back in June and he would be much skinnier much like the last time he had suffered a neck injury due to his car accident.

December 25, 2012 at Korakuen Hall, Mammoth would return to the ring for the first time in almost six months since his injury as he would team up with HIROKI, The Winger and Ryuichi Sekine against the team of Kenji Fukimoto, Captain Abnormal, One Man Kru, and Hido in a Scramble Bunkhouse Death Match. Both teams would start off waiting in the crowd waiting for the count down to rush and grab the barbed wire bat when Fukimoto would make an early dash for the barbed wire bat. Mammoth instead of running to the ring would rush after Hido in the crowd and begin brawling with his former FMW and WMF foe through the crowd as Hido would eventually smash Mammoth's head against the wall of the building. Mammoth would make it back to ringside and begin brawling with One Man Kru before making it in the ring to make the save for HIROKI who was about to be choke slammed by Captain Abnormal. Mammoth and Abnormal would both grab each other by the throats and try to choke slam one another with both unable to get each other off their feet. Both Mammoth and Abnormal would end up going down to one knee while still holding each other by the throat when Sekine would come in and kick Abnormal in the back. Abnormal would then exit the ring as Mammoth would set his sights on Fukimoto. Hido would rush in the ring and attempt to go after Mammoth but Mammoth would get out of the ring before Hido could do anything. Hido would then grab the barbed wire bat and begin attacking Sekine with it instead and then begin saying something to Mammoth before Mammoth would leave with a victory for his come back.

January 20, 2013 at the Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth would team up with the FREEDOMS Army of Takashi Sasaki, HIROKI, Kamui, and SUSUMU in a Single Elimination Match against the Unchain team of Jun Kasai, Minoru Fujita, Masashi Takeda, Kenji Fukimoto, and Captain Abnormal. Eliminations would be by pinfalls, submission, and the over the top rope rule and the match would start with one member of each team going at it and then after every minute a member of one team coming in much like the War Games rules. Mammoth would end up being the last wrestler to come to the ring and he would immediately go after Captain Abnormal with Abnormal getting the better at first and attempting to pick up Mammoth for a Tombstone Piledriver but would be unsuccessful and picking Mammoth up. Mammoth would then try to setup Abnormal with a Powerbomb but would be unable to. Mammoth would then take Abnormal to the turnbuckle where he would pick him and attempt to powerbomb him over the top rope. Mammoth would only manage to throw Abnormal over the ropes with Abnormal still standing on the ring apron. Mammoth would then come rushing with a clothesline knocking Abnormal out of the ring for the first elimination. Fukimoto would go right after Mammoth and attempt to suplex him over the top rope to the outside but Mammoth would manage to turn it into a 29 Years Old but as he would go to make the pinfall several of the Unchain members would be able to make the save with Kasai coming with a double ax handle to the back of Mammoth's neck This would irritate Mammoth's already injured neck as Mammoth would begin holding the back of neck before attempting to pick up Fukimoto for an Awesome Bomb. The spot would turn ugly as Mammoth would be unable to pick up Fukimoto and his legs would give out and Mammoth and Fukimoto would both fall awkwardly as Mammoth would grab his arm in pain although would still be able to go forward with an injured shoulder. HIROKI would come in to help give Mammoth a second to recover by Superkicking Fukimoto as Mammoth would come back and pick up Fukimoto and deliver the 29 Years Old to get the pinfall elimination over Fukimoto. Mammoth would finally tag out and hold the back of his neck and shoulder in obvious pain while on the apron. Mammoth would eventually come back in as it would just be Mammoth and Kamui against Masashi Takeda as Mammoth would hand Kamui a chair as they would both go for the Mammoth Home Run on Takeda with Takeda moving out of the way and going over the top rope with Mammoth. Kamui would come after Takeda to try and knock him off the apron but would end up nailing Mammoth instead. Takeda would then run back in the ring and come after Mammoth with a spear knocking him off the apron to eliminate Mammoth. This would leave Kamui and Takeda with Takeda eventually nailing Kamui with the U-Crash for the Unchain victory.

After the match, it would be announced that FREEDOMS would be holding a 16 man single elimination tournament to crown the first ever King of Freedoms World Champion. Each wrestler would pick 8 random numbers and the two wrestlers getting the matching number would face each other in the first round with Mammoth pulling the same card as Minoru Fujita with their first round match scheduled for February 27th with Mammoth gleeful at getting at chance at facing Fujita for the first time.

February 27, 2013 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, Mammoth's first round opponent for the King of Freedoms Championship would be against Minoru Fujita. Fujita would jump Mammoth from behind right while Mammoth was coming out for his entrance. Fujita would try to get the pinfall right away as at first he would try to sunset flip Mammoth which would not work but Mammoth would try to come down on Fujita instead with Fujita moving out of the way and trying a roll up with Mammoth kicking out. Fujita would try another quick pinfall with a hurricanrana but Mammoth would manage to kick out again. Mammoth would already begin holding the back of his neck again as Fujita would elbow the back of Mammoth's neck. This would spark a fire in Mammoth who would begin chopping away at Fujita's chest several time until Fujita would get behind Mammoth and bring him down to the mat with a head lock. Mammoth would manage to get off his feet and bring Fujita off the mat with him as he would slam Fujita off the mat. Mammoth would end up end up hitting a choke bomb off the top turnbuckle on Fujita but as Mammoth would go for a choke slam, Fujita would push the referee away allowing the referee to not see Fujita kick Mammoth low. Fujita would hit a Implanter but would fail to put away Mammoth. Mammoth would charge at Fujita but Fujita would move out of the way with Mammoth hitting the turnbuckle as Fujita would roll up Mammoth with his feet on the ropes but Mammoth would manage to kick out. Fujita would begin to crawl away outside the ring on the ramp when Mammoth would catch him and bring him back in by delivering a running powerbomb from the ramp into the ring. Mammoth would then setup for the 29 Years Old but Fujita would manage to escape while in the air and although Mammoth would grab him by the throat afterwards looking for the choke slam, Fujita would be able to roll up Mammoth horizontally pinfall eliminating Mammoth in the first round of the tournament.

Mammoth's next scheduled Shin-Kiba 1st Ring show will be on July 24, 2014 where he will team with Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO, and The Winger as they will take on the team of HIROKI, Toru Sugiura, Kenji Fukimoto, and Daisuke Masaoka in a older vs. younger Single Elimination Match one day
after he turns 40 years old.

I have gotten the chance to see Mammoth compete live four times. I got the chance to see him return to the ring after his car accident that caused him to be out of the ring for 15 months on June 21, 2010. I also got the opportunity to see him live on June 28, 2012 and get his autograph right before he would take 6 months off due to a neck injury, and finally I got to see him turn against the FREEDOMS Army and join the Jado Army live on June 27, 2013 which was one of the highlights of going to Japan that year. I have always really enjoyed Mammoth Sasaki throughout the years as I have got to see him grow from when he started out in FMW seventeen years ago.

Mammoth's pro-wrestling future looks to just be what it has been with FREEDOMS for awhile. Because of his long tenure in pro-wrestling and size he will always be pushed as a top guy in the small company but he does not have the close friendship with President Takashi Sasaki like some of the other wrestlers do so he will never really be a top guy for the promotion. That and with him about to be 40 and having a full time job and not taking any other bookings besides for FREEDOMS seems to show Mammoth is complacent with where he is with his life and with his pro-wrestling career.
