Hayabusa would make his first appearance since the injury and would be accompanied by Mr. Gannosuke & Jinsei Shinzaki at a Press Conference on July 3, 2002 to announce the plans to start up a new promotion called WMF. WMF would actually be started up by Gannosuke, but would use Hayabusa as the face of the promotion to bring people in. The promotion would consist of Hayabusa as the Commissioner, Mr. Gannosuke, Mammoth Sasaki, GOEMON, Onryo, Garuda, Soldier, Flying Kid Ichihara, and Ikeda-kun. Jinsei Shinzaki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, Hisakatsu Oya, and Ricky Fuji would also agree to work for the promotion, and would announce a practice show for Mr. Gannosuke to get rid of any ring rust on August 18, 2002 with a big debut show for the promotion taking place on August 28, 2002.

Mr. Gannosuke would work his first match since breaking his leg and ankle on January 6, 2002 at the Saitama Pepe Hall Atlas on August 18, 2002 when he would team with Garuda, Onryo, and Ikeda-kun to face GOEMON, Mammoth Sasaki, Ricky Fuji, and Soldier with Gannosuke hitting his Riki Choshu lariat for the first time in months on Soldier and then putting him the Scorpion Death Lock. Garuda would manage to pin Soldier with the Falcon Arrow to win the match. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga who had asked Gannosuke to be apart of WMF and would be turned down as the promotion would claim that there would be no Death Matches, and as a result there was no spot for Matsunaga. Matsunaga would attack Gannosuke after the match, and claim to show up at the debut show on the 28th.

Despite their years of hatred towards each other, and the time only time that they did team up, Shinzaki turned on Gannosuke during their match, Mr. Gannosuke & Jinsei Shinzaki would put all their differences aside as both of Hayabusa's friends to team up together to take on Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya on August 28, 2002 for the WMF debut show at the Differ Ariake. Gannosuke would come to the ring with new music, and loud chants of "Gannosuke! Gannosuke!" would start early in the match as Kuroda would take offense and walk away from the ring until the fans would chant his name. Gannosuke and Kuroda would begin supplexing each other early in the match which Gannosuke would manage to win and would hit the Riki Choshu Lariat on Kuroda, followed by the Scorpion Death Lock. Gannosuke and Kuroda would begin to trade slaps with Gannosuke once again winning the battle against Kuroda, but Gannosuke would attempt a Fire Thunder on Kuroda, with Kuroda slipping out and nailing an enziguri on Gannosuke. Oya would come in and begin to apply an Octopus submission on Gannosuke, with Gannosuke trying to fight out of his former tag team partners move. Gannosuke would manage to get out, but Oya would attempt to supplex with Gannosuke falling and landing on top of Oya for a cover, before making the tag to Shinzaki. Shinzaki would come in and take care of Oya with Gannosuke coming in and with Jinsei Shinzaki, hitting the Praying Powerbomb on Oya for the cover. Kuroda would make the save for Oya, and out of nowhere an injured Oya would hit Gannosuke with a Backdrop supplex and make the tag to Kuroda. Kuroda would nail a lariat on Gannosuke, but would attempt again with Gannosuke catching him and hitting a German Supplex on Kuroda. Gannosuke would then clothesline Kuroda over the top rope sending them both over when Mitsuhiro Matsunaga would come out and begin attacking Gannosuke with his barbwire baseball bat. Matsunaga would then hit Shinzaki with the bat as Gannosuke would be seen bleeding from the attack as Matsunaga would walk to the back, but not before GOEMON would come out and slap hands with Matsunaga and begin pointing at Kuroda who would be in the ring with Gannosuke and deliver a lowblow. Oya would grab a hold of Gannosuke, and Kuroda would lariat Gannosuke while Oya would deliver a backdrop supplex to him. Oya would clear the ring of Shinzaki, as Kuroda would go for the finish with a lariat, but Gannosuke would manage to duck it, and hook Kuroda with the Gannosuke Clutch for the near victory, but Kuroda would manage to get up and lariat Gannosuke and end up covering Gannosuke for the victory. GOEMON would begin stomping at the defeat Gannosuke and Shinzaki when Kuroda would help stop GOEMON from doing it before stomping away at them as well. Oya would join in and GOEMON, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and Hisakatsu Oya would form an alliance with one another as the three would walk over to Hayabusa, near the entrance way in his wheel chair, and GOEMON would grab a bottle of water and spit in Hayabusa's face as the bloody Gannosuke would rush to the aid of Hayabusa, but would be too later as GOEMON, Kuroda, and Oya would make their exit in time before Gannosuke could get there. GOEMON, Kuroda, and would Oya would add Soldier later to the group, and officially be called "Brand Double Cross", the first heel group in WMF. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga would once again interfere on September 16, 2002 but this time, it would be against Mammoth Sasaki, and would help Hisakatsu Oya beat Mammoth after several baseball bat shots.

WMF would gain revenge on Brand Double Cross on September 29, 2002 at the Saitama Koshigaya Katsura Studio, when Mammoth Sasaki would manage to easily defeat Mitsuhiro Matsunaga, and the WMF team of Mr. Gannosuke, Jinsei Shinzaki, and Garuda would defeat the Brand Double Cross team of Tetsuhiro Kuroda, Hisakatsu Oya, and Soldier when Gannosuke would hook the Gannosuke Clutch on Oya for the win. Mr. Gannosuke would then wrestle Hisakatsu Oya on November 23, 2002 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere, and defeat his former tag team partner and friend with the Riki Choshu Lariat to build up Gannosuke for his upcoming return to Korakuen Hall.

Mr. Gannosuke would return to Korakuen Hall on December 12, 2002 for the first time since his January 6, 2002 injury in FMW for WMF's Korakuen Hall debut show. It would also mark the first time Hayabusa would return to the building that his injury occurred in, with Hayabusa taking his first steps to the public since the accident. Mr. Gannosuke would face off against All Japan's Satoshi Kojima for his return to Korakuen Hall and his first singles match in the building since August 28, 2000 against Hayabusa. Gannosuke's "Kishindo" theme would return and Gannosuke would go right after Kojima's elbow to start the match off. Gannosuke would throw Kojima to the outside, and smash a chair over his arm, and then begin smashing it against the turnbuckle. Gannosuke would continue to work over the arm until Kojima would begin a war of slaps to the chest with Gannosuke, resulting in Gannosuke going low on Kojima. Gannosuke would continue with the arm bars and working on Kojima until Kojima would manage to grab Gannosuke and hit him with a side supplex. Gannosuke would come off the top rope and hit Kojima with a flying dropkick, and would begin to wind up for the Riki Choshu Lariat, but Kojima would catch Gannosuke and nail a Spine Buster on Gannosuke. Kojima would hit a flying elbow drop, and then begin another slapping against the chest with Gannosuke, with Gannosuke backing up and hitting a lariat, and then follow up with a Riki Choshu Lariat, and then would put Kojima in the Scorpion Death Lock. Kojima would manage to get out, and Gannosuke would follow with a backdrop supplex, and then would attempt another Riki Choshu Lariat when Kojima would catch him, and deliver the Koji Cutter to Gannosuke. Kojima would then charge at Gannosuke with his own lariat, but Gannosuke would manage to catch him and hook Kojima with the Gannosuke Clutch for a close victory. Gannosuke feeling the moment would hit Kojima with the Fire Thunder, but still could not put away Kojima. Gannosuke would go for another lariat, but Kojima would manage to catch Gannosuke and deliver the Michinoku Driver on him, but would fail to put Gannosuke away. Kojima feeling victory near would deliver another lariat, and then would pull off the elbow pad and finish Gannosuke off with another lariat for the win. Kojima and Gannosuke would shake hands afterwards, and Gannosuke would leave by shaking hands with Hayabusa, but Gannosuke soon go back to his roots after the show.

Mr. Gannosuke would team up with Jinsei Shinzaki on December 21, 2002 at the Sapporo Teisen Hall to face Double Cross Army's GOEMON & Tetsuhiro Kuroda, but during the match Gannosuke would turn on Shinzaki and would align himself with GOEMON and the Double Cross Army. Gannosuke & GOEMON would stomp away at Shinzaki as Kuroda would confront GOEMON about Gannosuke apparently be the newest member of the group without him knowing about it. As a result, Gannosuke and GOEMON would then turn on Kuroda and begin stomping away at Shinzaki and Kuroda as the Double Cross Army had dropped Kuroda for Mr. Gannosuke as their newest member. It would not be the end of Gannosuke for the show, as after his main event over Garuda, Mammoth Sasaki would be attacked and laid out by Gannosuke. Kuroda would then rush to the ring and help Mammoth out, and would chase off Double Cross Army with the show ending with Kuroda and Mammoth shaking hands and becoming an alliance against the Double Cross to go into 2003.

Mr. Gannosuke would team up with GOEMON & Soldier to open up 2003 against Mammoth Sasaki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and Garuda on January 12, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere, despite Kuroda & Mammoth both aiming for Gannosuke's head during the match, it would be Gannosuke walking away the winner after hooking the Gannosuke Clutch on Mammoth for the victory to start 2003 with a victory.

Brand Double Cross would then reveal their newest member of the group on January 26, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere by announcing Hayabusa to the group. But it would turn out to be Mr. Gannosuke revising his old 1999 Hayabusa gimmick to team with Soldier & Sukekiyo to defeat the WMF team of Mammoth Sasaki, Onryo, and Garuda after Soldier would pin Onryo with a cradle for the win. Just like three years earlier, Mr. Gannosuke was still not done mocking and feuding with his long time friend Hayabusa, and would continue with the gimmick. Hayabusa would team up with Soldier to defeat the team of Garuda & Ikeda-kun on February 9, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere after Hayabusa would use the Fire Thunder on Garuda for the win. Gannosuke had just pinned Hayabusa's protégé, and was beginning to get on a roll in the early year.

Hayabusa would team up with Hisakatsu Oya's new gimmick as a Puerto Rican Assassin known as HISAKATSU to face Mammoth Sasaki & Jinsei Shinzaki on February 15, 2003 at the Osaka Sky Dome Hall, despite mocking Shinzaki as much as possible while under his Hayabusa mask, including hitting a Praying Powerbomb on Shinzaki, it would be Mammoth Sasaki to score the pinfall after hitting HISAKATSU with a lariat for the victory. It would be the last time that the former FMW Brass Knuckles Tag Team Champions in 1997 of Hisakatsu Oya & Mr. Gannosuke would team together, despite being known as Hayabusa & HISAKATSU for the match. Hayabusa would get extremely upset over HISAKATSU being pinned in the match, and causing them to lose, resulting in Hayabusa shoving HISAKATSU, and HISAKATSU retaliating with a backdrop suplex on Hayabusa. This would make Gannosuke so upset that he would quit the Double Cross Brand after his differences with HISAKATSU, and would announce that Mr. Gannosuke would be returning to the ring on February 23, 2002, but that his partner would be Hayabusa.

Mr. Gannosuke would return back to his old self on February 23, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere, and would announce his partner as Hayabusa for their match against Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Ricky Fuji. It would turn out to be Independent wrestler Katsumi Hirano, who had wrestled in IWA Japan & Tokyo Pro the same time Gannosuke was back in 1995 & 1996, and looked very similar to Gannosuke dressed up in the Hayabusa ring attire. Gannosuke would manage to finish off Ricky Fuji with his Fire Thunder for the win.

Gannosuke would then make another announcement that he was forming his own group, with him as the leader. He would announce his group on March 9, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere as "The GUN's" with Ichiro Yaguchi as Mr. Rocknosuke, and Katsumi Hirano as Mr. Iwaonosuke, with both wrestlers looking extremely similar to Gannosuke for their match against Double Cross Brand's GOEMON, HISAKATSU, and Soldier with Gannosuke getting revenge on Brand Double Cross and becoming the lead heel stable in WMF by pinning GOEMON with a Riki Choshu Lariat for the GUN's victory.

The GUN's would take it a step further in their antics by ambushing Hayabusa & Jinsei Shinzaki on March 15, 2003 after Jinsei Shinzaki was wheeling Hayabusa out of his Tokyo Rehabilitation Center, with Gannosuke and Iwaonosuke driving up to them, jumping out of the car, and Mr. Iwaonosuke putting Shinzaki in his own Nirvana Choke as Gannosuke would kick Hayabusa out of his wheelchair. This would set up a rematch of their incredible match from five years in Mr. Gannosuke challenging Jinsei Shinzaki on April 11, 2003 at Korakuen Hall.

But first, tragic news would happen again for the former FMW family, when Kodo Fuyuki would pass away on March 19, 2003 of cancer. Kodo Fuyuki, who had wrestled with and against Mr. Gannosuke so many times for four years would be remembered best with Gannosuke & Kanemura as the origin of Team No Respect, and the heel FMW factions that would follow it. Mr. Gannosuke and many other WMF wrestlers would attend the wake of Kodo Fuyuki in Yokohama on March 22, 2003 allowing each wrestler to say goodbye to their former friend and partner once last time. Gannosuke and the other WMF wrestlers would not be able to attend the funeral due to a WMF show being scheduled that day, but the show would start GOEMON holding a Kodo Fuyuki picture and wearing Team No Respect with a 10 bell salute in memory of Hiromichi "Kodo" Fuyuki.

The GUN's would team together on Double Cross Brand on that March 23, 2003 show at the Saitama Pepe Hall Atlas, with The GUN's revealing their newest member of the group to be one of Gannosuke's long time hated rivals in Mr. Pogo. Mr. Pogo would come in with his chain and knife, and would quickly go after Gannosuke who had feuded with him in FMW ten years earlier, as Mr. Pogo would tie the chain around Gannosuke's neck and toss him over the top rope, and would fail to answer the referee's request to let go of Gannosuke until the referee would have no choice but to disqualify Pogo. The match would be over, but Gannosuke vs. Pogo would have to be settled later.

Mr. Gannosuke would return to Korakuen Hall on April 11, 2003 in a rematch of their April 21, 1998 Korakuen Hall match from FMW, facing off against long time rival Jinsei Shinzaki. Mr. Gannosuke and The GUN's would come out in mocking fashion to Jinsei Shinzaki's theme while Gannosuke would wear his old black monk gimmick from his return to FMW in 1998. Gannosuke would bring his attention to Hayabusa, in the wheel chair watching the event. Gannosuke would call out Hayabusa, and begin insulting him, which would result in Hayabusa flicking him off. Gannosuke would call the GUN's to wheel Hayabusa to him in the ring. The GUN's with Ikeda-kun's resistance would begin wheeling Hayabusa to the ring when Jinsei Shinzaki would rush to help his friend out and take care of The GUN's. Gannosuke would rush at Shinzaki, and the fight would be on as they would immediately begin brawling in the stands, with Shinzaki smashing a chair hard over the head of Gannosuke, causing Gannosuke to already begin to bleed. Shinzaki would attempt to hit a Praying Powerbomb on Gannosuke off the stage, when Iwaonosuke would make the save for Gannosuke. Shinzaki would turn his attention to Iwaonosuke, allowing Gannosuke to jump Shinzaki from behind. The GUN's would begin double teaming on Shinzaki, and would throw him in the ring, allowing Gannosuke to rest. The GUN's would send Shinzaki into the ropes, trying for a double clothesline, but Shinzaki would manage to duck, and baseball slide out of the ring and once again, go after the bloody Gannosuke. Gannosuke would begin running away from Shinzaki, when again The GUN's would attack Shinzaki from behind, and would begin double teaming him before sending him back in the ring. A triple team would occur while in the ring, with Rocknosuke and Iwaonosuke sending Shinzaki into the corner, and delivering an elbow, but when Gannosuke would go after him, Shinzaki would nail Gannosuke with a kick. Again, the GUN's would attack Shinzaki, and help Gannosuke deliver a Praying Powerbomb on Shinzaki, followed by each member of the GUN's delivering a Riki Choshu Lariat to Shinzaki. Gannosuke would then put the Scorpion Death Lock on Shinzaki, until Shinzaki would finally manage to grab the rope to break the move. The GUN's would then help Gannosuke hit a Super Powerbomb off the top rope, and when Gannosuke would make the cover on Shinzaki. Referee Ted Tanabe would not count for Gannosuke after all the triple teaming, and would then throw Rocknosuke & Iwaonosuke out of the match, for their excessive triple teaming, leaving the match to finally become Mr. Gannosuke against Jinsei Shinzaki, one on one. Gannosuke would hit Shinzaki with a lariat, but would even fail to get a two count on Shinzaki. Gannosuke would try for the Fire Thunder, but Shinzaki would manage to slip out, and when Gannosuke would go for a kick, Shinzaki would manage to grab Gannosuke's leg and flip Gannosuke's body over. Shinzaki would go to the top rope, and hit a flying drop kick and would then apply the Goku-Raku Gatame Straight Jacket maneuver, but Gannosuke would manage to get his foot on the rope to break the move. Shinzaki would then apply then attempt the over the shoulder running Powerbomb, the same move that had finished Gannosuke five years earlier, but Gannosuke would manage to slip away, and deliver a low blow to Shinzaki. The bloody Gannosuke would follow with a Shining Wizard to Shinzaki, and manage to score the pinfall victory over his long time rival. Gannosuke had defeated Shinzaki, but Mr. Pogo would enter the ring, and begin attacking Gannosuke with his knife, and would begin carving Gannosuke's forehead, when Shinzaki would deliver a kick to Mr. Pogo, getting him off of Gannosuke. Shinzaki would not be done, and would deliver a Super Kick to Gannosuke, sending Gannosuke out of the ring, but still a winner of their match, and finally for now, putting an end to their on and off feud for the past six years.

Mr. Gannosuke would face off against Mr. Pogo on May 11, 2003 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere in a Street Fight, the two had never gotten a long back in the early days of FMW when Gannosuke would side with Atsushi Onita's FMW team against Mr. Pogo's heel faction in the early 90's. The match would literally turn into a Street Fight, as Gannosuke and Pogo would begin brawling outside of the building, in the streets of Tokyo, before finally arriving back inside inside the ring. Mr. Gannosuke would end up hitting his Riki Choshu Lariat on the bloody Pogo, and would be able to score the victory over another long time rival.

Mr. Gannosuke would then face WMF's ace and his former tag team partner Mammoth Sasaki on May 24, 2003 at the Osaka Sky Dome Hall, two days past the two year mark when Mr. Gannosuke and Mammoth Sasaki formed a team at the Sapporo Green Dome. But during their match another familiar person in Mr. Gannosuke's past would arrive in Atsushi Onita, and would begin attacking Gannosuke in the crowd as the two would begin brawling, with Onita throwing Gannosuke into a pile of chairs. When Gannosuke would finally make it back in the ring, an awaiting Mammoth would hit Gannosuke with a lariat, and score the biggest pinfall victory of his career, defeating Gannosuke.

Mr. Gannosuke would then take part for Atsushi Onita's Onita Pro show for a charity event to help Mr. Gannosuke's former tag team partner Sambo Asako pay the hospital bills after an extreme case of diabetes would cause Asako to lose sight in one eye, and force one of his legs to be amputated. Mr. Gannosuke would take part in his first barbwire match since a Barbwire Tornado Street Fight on August 25, 1997 in FMW, and the first time facing off against Onita since scoring a pinfall over him on March 13, 1998. Mr. Gannosuke would team up with The Shooter and Viking Taniguchi to take on Atsushi Onita, Masaru Toi, and Ichiro Yaguchi who was Mr. Rocknosuke in the GUN's in a Barbwire Street Fight, with Onita scoring the pinfall over The Shooter with a Thunder Fire Powerbomb. Afterwards, Onita and Gannosuke would shake hands, and Onita would agree to take part in WMF, and tag team with Mr. Gannosuke for their next Korakuen Hall show on July 25, 2003.

Before his death, Kodo Fuyuki would assign Go Ito to take over his promotion, with help from Kintaro Kanemura, and Fuyuki's wife would continue to fund the promotion. When Kodo Fuyuki was in charge, he did not want any part of WMF, and was very skeptical to letting Tetsuhiro Kuroda work for the promotion, as he was mad that all the wrestlers left his promotion to form another promotion, hurting his roster and fan base. But when Go Ito would take over, a deal would be met for both promotions to align with each other, and let both rosters work on each others show, starting with a FMW Reunion show for the Fuyuki Army Promotion.

Mr. Gannosuke would be force to team up with fellow WMF wrestler Mammoth Sasaki, as well as TAKA Michinoku to face off against Genichiro Tenryu, Kintaro Kanemura, and Masao Orihara for the Fuyuki Army Promotion on July 7, 2003 at Korakuen Hall. It would be the first Gannosuke would be in a match with former partner and friend Kanemura when they teamed together on January 5, 2002 in FMW. A huge brawl would start right away for the match, with every wrestler except Tenryu brawling with one another when Tenryu would climb off the top rope and hit a dive on every single wrestler in the match to the floor. Gannosuke would start off with Tenryu, hitting the Riki Choshu Lariat, and then following it up with the Scorpion Death Lock. Mammoth would tag in and begin going at it with Tenryu and exchanging chops before Gannosuke would tag himself back in the match, and would begin exchanging chops with Tenryu as well. Kintaro Kanemura would come in the ring, and when Gannosuke would clear the ring of Tenryu, Gannosuke would take the opportunity to hit a Praying Powerbomb on Kanemura. TAKA would soon be tagged in and work over Kanemura, when both Gannosuke & Mammoth would come in, looking to double team Kanemura. Gannosuke would grab Mammoth, looking to send him into the corner into Kanemura, but instead of would grab Mammoth by the hair and send him back to the other corner, and would deliver a clothesline to Mammoth. Gannosuke would then leave his team, refusing team with Mammoth any longer, resulting in Kanemura eventually getting the pinfall victory with a senton over Mammoth for the victory for his team.

Mammoth would be set to gain his revenge on July 25, 2003 at WMF's Korakuen Hall show with Tetsuhiro Kuroda as his partner against Mr. Gannosuke and Atsushi Onita, but due to an emergency Japanese senate meeting, Onita would have to cancel his appearance just hours before his match. As a result, the match would turn into The GUN's facing Mammoth Sasaki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and a Mystery Partner. Kintaro Kanemura would come out as the Mystery Partner to set up the main event between The GUN's against Mammoth Sasaki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and Kintaro Kanemura. Before the match, The GUN's would interfere in a match involving Hido and Gosaku Goshogawara, with the GUN's attacking Goshogawara and helping Hido. Hido would accompany The GUN's in a match where if the GUN's were to win, then WMF would be force to close down. Mammoth would go right after Gannosuke to start the match off, with Mammoth attempting to send Gannosuke into the corner, but Gannosuke would manage to reverse it and send Mammoth into the corner instead. Mammoth would deliver a big boot to a charging Gannosuke, but when Mammoth would attempt a lariat to Gannosuke, Gannosuke would manage to duck it and deliver a unprotected German Supplex causing Mammoth to land directly on his head, as the two would begin brawling around ringside. Mammoth would begin setting up a table right by ringside, but as Mammoth would attempt to Choke Slam, but Gannosuke would manage to avoid it, and instead deliver a body slam through the table on Mammoth. Gannosuke with help from Hido would begin busting Mammoth's forehead open with blood, and would continue to work on the cut when WMF President Yamada would attempt to help Mammoth, and as a result, get attacked by Gannosuke and cut open as well before being brought in the ring and triple teamed by The GUN's until having to be carried off. The GUN's would then begin triple teaming Mammoth, before Kanemura and Kuroda would manage to make the save for their partner. Mr. Rocknosuke and Mr. Iwaonosuke would begin fighting off Kanemura and Kuroda, leaving Gannosuke an easy chance to come in an attempt to finish them off. But Kanemura would manage to fight off and deliver a DDT to Gannosuke and tag in Kuroda. Gannosuke would manage to get help from The GUN's on triple team Kuroda, and would deliver a Praying Powerbomb, and then followed with a Fire Thunder on Gannosuke. Each GUN would take their an opponent, and attempt to throw each of them into one another at the same time, but Mammoth, Kuroda, and Kanemura would all reserve it and instead send each GUN into one another and then clearing the ring of Gannosuke and Rocknosuke, as Mammoth would manage to finish off Mr. Iwaonosuke with the debut of his 29 year old Jackhammer finisher on Iwaonosuke for the victory. The GUN's would fail to end WMF, and it would basically be the burial for Mr. Gannosuke's GUN's.

Due to the recent conflicts between the two, a match between former friends Mr. Gannosuke against Kintaro Kanemura would be scheduled for August 25, 2003 at Korakuen Hall for the Fuyuki Army Promotion. Mr. Gannosuke would come to the ring, bringing a chair of his for the match, ready to use it. Kanemura seeing Gannosuke's chair, would back himself up by bringing a chair in the ring as well. The former friends would begin dueling with the chairs, with Gannosuke winning the battle and smashing the chair over Kanemura's head, already causing blood to come from Kanemura. The two would begin brawling around ringside with Kanemura grabbing a table and smashing Gannosuke's over and over in it until they would be in the crowd, and Kanemura would then dive off the stage on to Gannosuke through a table. Kanemura would bring Gannosuke back in the ring, and would set up a table on the apron and a chair, but would be unable to body slam Gannosuke through it, and Gannosuke would manage to hit a Fire Thunder through the table on Kanemura. Gannosuke would bring Kanemura back in the ring, and deliver the Riki Choshu Lariat on Kanemura, and then follow with the Scorpion Death Lock. The bloody Gannosuke would grab a piece of the broken table, but as he would attempt to hit Kanemura over the head with it, Kanemura would deliver a lowblow on Gannosuke, and smash the broken piece of table over Gannosuke's head. The hard hit would wake up Gannosuke though, and Gannosuke would follow with a lariat to Kanemura. Hido, TAKA Michinoku, and GENTARO would rush to the ring to help Gannosuke attack Kanemura and would lay out the referee in the process. Mammoth Sasaki, GOEMON, and Onryo would rush to the ring to help Kanemura, with Mammoth delivering a chair shot of revenge to Gannosuke, as Go Io would rush to the ring to become the referee for the match. Kanemura would deliver a Blast YAMA Senton, and then Kanemura would deliver a Thunder Fire Powerbomb on Gannosuke with Go Ito making the cover, and Kanemura would manage to score his first pinfall over Gannosuke since February 6, 1995. Mammoth Sasaki would leave, but with GOEMON, Onryo, Takashi Sasaki, Ryuji Ito, Hido, TAKA Michinoku, and GENTARO in the ring. Kintaro Kanemura would ask that all the Independent wrestlers join forces to fight the battle between the major promotions in Japan, especially going after Zero One. All the wrestlers in the ring would all be excited at the idea of joining up with Kanemura asking Gannosuke to join the group with him. Gannosuke would look disinterested in the idea, but would have a change of heart and join together with Kanemura. Gannosuke, Kanemura, and the others would begin to do the TNR Dance together for the first time years all united, with their new group being called, the Apache Army.

The Apache Army would make their debut together for WMF's 1st Year Anniversary show on September 6, 2003 at the Differ Ariake, but before their match, Gannosuke, Kanemura, GENTARO, TAKA Michinoku, and Hido would come out in robes and underwear for the return of The Brief Brothers, the first time the group would be seen doing comedy skits since September 1, 1998 when Team No Respect lost a match to Atsushi Onita's Team Zero, and as a result had their underwear crucified. Mr. Gannosuke would team up with his former Team No Respect partners Kintaro Kanemura & Hido to face Mammoth Sasaki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and Ikeda-kun. Gannosuke before the match, would question the credibility of Ikeda-kun being in the main event, proving so little to hold his own in the match. Ikeda-kun would take the punishment and triple teaming of the Apache Army, and hold his hold, but would eventually fall to a lariat by Gannosuke for the Apache Army win. Tetsuhiro Kuroda would also join the Apache Army after the match.

Mr. Gannosuke & Kintaro Kanemura would team together on September 19, 2003 at Korakuen Hall for the first time since January 5, 2002 and Mr. Gannosuke would make his debut for the Zero-One promotion, as The Apache Army members would face off against Shinjiro Otani & Masato Tanaka. It would be the first time Gannosuke would face off against Tanaka since September 2000, and the first time to ever face Otani. Gannosuke and Kanemura would jump Otani and Tanaka before the match, but Otani would fend off Gannosuke and charge with a clothesline, but as the bell would ring to start the match, Gannosuke would hook Otani with the Gannosuke Clutch and almost manage to pin Otani, seconds in the match. Gannosuke would throw Otani outside the ring, with the Apache Army members of GOEMON, Onryo, Hido, and GENTARO all stomping away at Otani on the outside. The Apache Army would lay Otani on a table, and GENTARO would slide into the ring, and hit a dive over the top rope to send Otani through the table. Gannosuke would begin focusing on cutting Otani's forehead on the outside as Kanemura would issue a request to Masato Tanaka to return to his roots and join the Apache Army. Gannosuke and Kanemura would continue working on the cut of Otani, with blood pouring all over Otani's face as Tanaka would watch. GENTARO would get the better end of the fight with Gannosuke until Gannosuke would manage to hit a lariat on GENTARO, and follow it up with the Scorpion Death Lock. Gannosuke would let go and tag in GOEMON, but Gannosuke would begin brawling outside with Takashi Sasaki when Garuda would deliver an Asai Moonsault to the outside on Gannosuke. Gannosuke would come in and face Takashi Sasaki, but with help with Masao Orihara by double teaming Sasaki, Gannosuke would deliver a Praying Powerbomb on Sasaki. Gosaku Goshogawara would come in to face and would hold Gannosuke down, and set up Gannosuke for Garuda to attempt a Fire Bird Splash, but instead Orihara would throw a chair at Garuda, knocking him off the top rope. This would leave Gosaku against Gannosuke, and Gosaku would deliver a Choke Slam to Gannosuke, but after attempting to clothesline Gannosuke, his leg would get hooked by Gannosuke and be put in the Gannosuke Clutch, managing to kick out. Gannosuke would follow up with two more lariats on Goshogawara and manage to score the pinfall for the win for his team. After the show, Kodo Fuyuki's widow Kaoru would announce that the last Fuyuki Army Promotion show would run their last show on May 5, 2004 at Kawasaki Stadium.

Mr. Gannosuke would return to Korakuen Hall to face GENTARO on April 8, 2004, as GENTARO would jump Mr. Gannosuke before their match and leave Gannosuke hurting outside the ring as the bell would ring. GENTARO would dive off the top rope and hit Gannosuke outside. GENTARO would get Gannosuke back in the ring and place him in a headlock, but Gannosuke would counter by sending GENTARO into the ropes and then hitting Riki Choshu Lariat. The crowd Gannosuke would follow by putting GENTARO in to the Scorpion Death Lock. GENTARO would get out and counter, by putting Gannosuke in the Sharpshooter which Gannosuke would have to grab the ropes to break out of. GENTARO would attempt to clothesline Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would duck and send GENTARO over the top rope. Gannosuke and GENTARO would brawl outside around ringside before going back in the ring where Gannosuke would hit a Praying Powerbomb for a two count. GENTARO would get back on the offense, and deliver his Sweet Chin Music Superkick for the two count. GENTARO would then a dive off the ropes but land on Gannosuke's knees. GENTARO would manage to get Gannosuke back on the mat and hit a Flying elbow drop and then hit another Superkick on Gannosuke for the two count. GENTARO would then attempt to finish the match off with a Shooting Star Press which Gannosuke would move out of the way of. Gannosuke then deliver a big lariat, and then finish GENTARO off with a Fire Thunder for the three count and the victory.

Mr. Gannosuke would wrestle his first match at Kawasaki Stadium and May 5th show in three years on May 5, 2004 to face former World Japan wrestler Shiro Koshinaka, Gannosuke would jump Koshinaka early to begin the match outside of the ring. Koshinaka would manage to throw Gannosuke into the crowd, but Gannosuke would grab a chair while in the crowd and begin to go after Koshinaka with it. Koshinaka would counter with a chair himself and both wrestlers would begin a duel fight with the chairs. Koshinaka would use his hip to knock the chair away from Gannosuke, and the two would begin chipping at one another's chest, Gannosuke would deliver a Praying Powerbomb and then begin to attempt to put Koshinaka in the Scorpion Death Lock, but Koshinaka would manage to drag Gannosuke down to the mat. Koshinaka would fight back, and the two would exchange lariats with another. Koshinaka would end up attempting to finish off Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would manage to hook the Gannosuke Clutch, but Koshinaka would deliver a Samurai Driver '84 for the victory on Gannosuke for the pin. After the main event for the final Fuyuki Army show, Kintaro Kanemura would announce that the Apache Army would declare war on World Japan, and would be invading at their next Korakuen Hall show. An eight man match between the Apache Army taking on World Japan would be set for May 27th at Korakuen Hall.

Another friend of Gannosuke's and former FMW wrestler would pass away on May 18, 2004 after a long time partner of Gannosuke's in Sambo Asako would pass away after a two year struggle with an extreme case of diabetes. Asako who had partnered with Gannosuke for so many years in the early 90's in FMW would pass away at the early age of 40.

The Apache Army of Mr. Gannosuke, Kintaro Kanemura, GENTARO, and Hido would team together to face Riki Choshu's Army of Riki Choshu, Tomohiro Ishii, Takashi Uwano, and Ichiro Yaguchi on May 27, 2004 at Korakuen Hall, as Mr. Gannosuke after almost thirteen years in the business would finally be facing against Riki Choshu, his childhood hero growing up when following wrestling. Ishii would manage to score the pinfall over Hido after a Brainbuster, but afterwards the Apache Army would attack Choshu and while Gannosuke would hold on to Choshu, Kanemura would spray black spray paint on Riki Choshu's back "Indy" to remind Riki Choshu, that the Apache Army will be back.

Mr. Gannosuke along with Tetsuhiro Kuroda, Hido, Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO, GOEMON, Mammoth Sasaki, and Seiji Ikeda would all get booked through Kintaro Kanemura to tour with Riki Choshu's World Japan promotion as the Apache Army would battle the World Japan through out the tour. Hisakatsu Oya would also be on the tour as well. Gannosuke would start off the tour facing Takashi Uwano on June 17, 2004 but Gannosuke would just out to take out Uwano, giving him multiple lowblows before kicking the ref downstairs as well for the referee to give Uwano the DQ victory over Gannosuke. Gannosuke would then team up with GOEMON to face Takao Omori and Shiro Koshinaka on June 19, 2004 in Gannosuke's hometown of Nagasaki. It would also be the first time Gannosuke be facing off against Koshinaka since their May 5th match, and the first time ever facing Takao Omori, but the World Japan would come out with the victory after Koshinaka would score the pin over GOEMON. Gannosuke and GOEMON would team up once again, this time on Gannosuke's Birthday facing former GUN's member Ichiro Yaguchi and Takashi Uwano with Gannosuke this time focusing on actually pinning Uwano as he would score the pinfall victory after the Fire Thunder for the Apache win. Gannosuke would get another crack at Takao Omori and Shiro Koshinaka on June 21, 2004 with Mammoth Sasaki as his partner this time, but once again the World Japan team would get the victory after Omori would pin Mammoth on the last show on the tour.

Mr. Gannosuke's friendship with Kintaro Kanemura would start to come to an end shortly after this tour. Gannosuke and Kanemura would argue over many different aspects of wrestling that were coming between the two in combining with one another's promotion to form one group. There had been heat between the two after FMW died and Gannosuke decided to start up WMF and take half the roster with him instead of joining up with Fuyuki's WEW promotion. The two put their differences aside after Fuyuki's death to join together, but their differences would turn into too much heat between the two, and the two would separate themselves from one another with Kanemura starting up his new Apache Army promotion with his own money as Gannosuke would try and setup for WMF to return in August.

WMF would makes it return after nearly 6 months off on August 7, 2004 with Mr. Gannosuke teaming up with GOEMON to face the team of Garuda and Seiji Ikeda. The match would be given a long amount of time for Garuda to work some of his ring rust for the upcoming Anniversary show that he was set to face Mr. Gannosuke in the main event. Garuda would end up locking the Lunar Eclipse on GOEMON and forcing him to tap for the win. Soldier would end up returning to WMF for the first time in nearly a year and challenging Garuda to a match at the Anniversary show. Gannosuke would agree to cancel their match, and instead Gannosuke would be up against Seiji Ikeda.

Mr. Gannosuke would end up working an undercard match against GENTARO on August 19, 2004 at Korakuen Hall for the World Japan tour. Gannosuke had been booked by Riki Choshu through Kanemura before their differences had caused them to split up. Gannosuke would end up finishing off GENTARO with a Fire Thunder for the victory and would not return to Korakuen Hall, the building he use to work monthly in for another 18 months due to his heat with Kanemura.

Mr. Gannosuke would Seiji Ikeda in the semi main event of the 2nd year Anniversary show for WMF on August 29, 2004 at the Saitama Pepe Hall Atlas. The year before Gannosuke had criticized Ikeda for being in the main event, feeling he was not ready to be in a match of such high value after he was known for just being a comedy wrestler. The words by Gannosuke made Ikeda refocus on his career, and become a serious wrestler and begin using his real name in matches. Ikeda took it to Gannosuke in the beginning, delivering Gannosuke's own signature Riki Choshu's Lariat and putting Gannosuke in the Scorpion Death Lock to Gannosuke. Gannosuke would manage to fight back by delivering a Praying Powerbomb to Ikeda, followed up by several attempts to finish off Ikeda with back supplexs before finally finishing off Ikeda with the Fire Thunder for the victory. Afterwards, Gannosuke helped Ikeda up and showed Ikeda the respect he lacked at showing last year to Ikeda by shaking his hand for a fight well done.

WMF would open their Round Robin Tournament consisting of their 8 current roster wrestlers in Mr. Gannosuke, Mammoth Sasaki, Soldier, Garuda, GOEMON, Onryo, Seiji Ikeda, and Mineo Fujita. Gannosuke's first opponent would be Seiji Ikeda in a rematch of their August 28th match.

The opening match against Seiji Ikeda would take place on November 6, 2004 at the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere with Ikeda getting the underhand right away by lariating Gannosuke before the bell and getting a two count right away. Ikeda would mock Gannosuke's mocking of Shinzaki by attempting to deliver a Praying Powerbomb to Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would block it and flip Ikeda over. Gannosuke would send Ikeda into the turnbuckle but Ikeda would deliver an elbow to a charging Gannosuke and hit a back supplex on Gannosuke. Ikeda would attempt to hit Gannosuke with another lariat, but Gannosuke would feel nothing and go after Ikeda with a lariat of his own, but would end up getting caught and nailed with a Spine Buster on Gannosuke for the two count. Ikeda would then try for a Diving Senton, but Gannosuke would move out of the way and try to make his move. Gannosuke would deliver the Fire Thunder but Ikeda would manage to kick out. Gannosuke would hit a lariat, but Ikeda would kick out. Gannosuke would try for another Fire Thunder, but Ikeda would manage to backslide out of it and get a two count over Gannosuke. Ikeda would then roll up Gannosuke and score the victory and the upset as Gannosuke would be stuck on 0 points after the first day.

Gannosuke would try to redeem himself after the upset loss by taking on Soldier in the second match of the tournament on November 28, 2004 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere. Soldier would start off by disrespecting Gannosuke by offering his hand to shake, then when Gannosuke were to about to shake it, Soldier would move it back and flip him off. Soldier would then follow up with a slap to the face, and throw Gannosuke out of the ring. Soldier would make the best of his time alone in the ring by unbuckling the turnbuckle, as Gannosuke would enter back in the ring, Soldier would smash Gannosuke's head against the unprotected turnbuckle. Soldier would throw Gannosuke headfirst several more times against the unprotected steel until a cut would begin to form on Gannosuke. Soldier would begin to work on the cut, punching away at Gannosuke's forehead. Soldier would then bring a chair in the ring and throw it on the mat as he would deliver a bulldog to Gannosuke onto the chair. The cut would begin to get deeper as Gannosuke was just being destroyed by Soldier. Gannosuke would manage to fight back sending Soldier to the outside and following him with a chairshot of his own to Soldier's forehead, and then a smash over the head with the chair. Gannosuke would throw a now bloody Soldier in the ring and deliver a lariat, as well as a Praying Powerbomb on him to only get two. Gannosuke make the mistake of going to the top rope, but that would prove to be a big mistake as Soldier would deliver the BUU to Gannosuke for the victory as back to back upsets against Gannosuke had cost him the first two matches in the tournament, and last place overall in the Round Robin Tournament.

Gannosuke would try to stop the losing streak on December 18, 2004 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere against GOEMON who had owned and never been pinned by his entire career. GOEMON would go after Gannosuke's eyes right away, but Gannosuke would get the upper hand on GOEMON, and begin working on his leg before placing GOEMON in the Scorpion Death Lock. GOEMON would be able to reach to the ropes, but Gannosuke would be right back on him, this time going for the Figure Four leglock which GOEMON would manage to roll up Gannosuke with for a quick count, but more importantly the break out of the hold. It would not stop Gannosuke though, as he would just put GOEMON in the Boston Crab instead. GOEMON would manage to reach the ropes, and when Gannosuke try for a lariat, GOEMON would catch him and deliver the Exploder on him. GOEMON would counter all the submissions from Gannosuke by putting Gannosuke in the Crossface to try and make him tap out, but Gannosuke would manage to reach the ropes to break it. Gannosuke would manage to make it to his feet first, and deliver a lariat to GOEMON for the two count. Gannosuke would then attempt the Fire Thunder, but GOEMON would manage to get out, and roll up Gannosuke for the two count. Gannosuke would then try another lariat, but GOEMON would block him and roll him up Gannosuke with his own Gannosuke Clutch for two. Gannosuke would again make it to his feet faster and deliver a kick to the stomach, and follow it up with a Praying Powerbomb, but as Gannosuke would be going for the pin, GOEMON would grab his arm and put Gannosuke in the Fujiwara Armbar. Gannosuke would manage to reach the ropes with his leg. GOEMON would then try a Full Nelson on Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would kick GOEMON low and then place him in the Nirvana Strangle as GOEMON would quickly submit to as Gannosuke was finally on the board in the tournament with his first win and two points.

Gannosuke's biggest task to get back into the Tournament would be against Mammoth Sasaki in a Street Fight on December 19, 2004 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere. Mammoth would attack Gannosuke as soon as he would enter the ring as Mammoth would smash a chair over Gannosuke's head. Mammoth would throw Gannosuke outside the ring, and as Mammoth would grab another chair from the crowd, Gannosuke would manage to counter by grabbing a chair of his own as the two would begin to have chair duel with one another with Gannosuke winning and sending the chair into Mammoth's gut. Mammoth would counter with a knee to the gut, and throw Gannosuke into the crowd. The two would brawl around the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere with Mammoth gaining the upper advantage and throwing Gannosuke back in the ring, but bringing a trash can lid back with him. Mammoth would place a trash can over Gannosuke's head and smash it with a chair. They would go back to fighting before leaving the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere and beginning to roam the streets of Tokyo. Gannosuke would send Mammoth head first into a telephone poll. Mammoth would fight back by bodyslamming Gannosuke on the street for the two count. Gannosuke would fight back, throwing Mammoth into a gate, followed by climbing upstairs to the second story of a building, and then attempting to throw Mammoth over the top onto the ground. Mammoth would fight back, and bring the match back on the ground and throw Gannosuke into another gate as Gannosuke would begin to be busted open. A bloody Mammoth now in control would throw Gannosuke head first into the same telephone poll as earlier, before bringing the match back into the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere. Mammoth would set up a stack of chairs in the ring, and place Gannosuke on top of them. But as Mammoth would begin to climb the top rope holding a chair, Gannosuke would get up and throw one of the chairs at Mammoth causing the chair he was holding to smack right into his face. Gannosuke would deliver a supplex off the top rope, but Mammoth would manage to make it to his feet and deliver a lariat on Gannosuke, followed by an Awesome Bomb for two. Mammoth would bring in a barbed wire board to the ring, and place it over a stack of chairs, but Gannosuke would go low, kicking Mammoth downstairs, followed with a Praying Powerbomb through the barbed wire board, but still would only get a two count on Mammoth. Much of the barbed wire would stick to Mammoth's clothes and as Gannosuke would go for a lariat, he would end up getting cut by much of the barbed wire still stuck to Mammoth. Mammoth would take advantage of this by grabbing Gannosuke and hitting him with the 29 Years Old, but Gannosuke would manage to kick out. Mammoth would go for the kill and deliver the Mammoth Home Run to Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would manage to stay on his feet and follow up with a lariat. Mammoth would make it back up to his feet first, but as Mammoth would try for a lariat, Gannosuke would catch him and roll him up for the Gannosuke Clutch and the victory to get him right back into the tournament with four points.

Mr. Gannosuke would open 2005 with a match against Mineo Fujita hoping to keep his hot streak alive in the Round Robin Tournament on January 22, 2005 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere. Fujita would open the match off right away by hitting a drop kick on Gannosuke before the bell. Fujita would then place Gannosuke in a Sleeper, but Gannosuke would manage to get out of it. Gannosuke would then egg Fujita on to slap him in the face several times, but Gannosuke would counter that by just kicking him low. Gannosuke would begin kicking Fujita, but Fujita would catch his leg and deliver a Dragon Screw leg whip to Gannosuke. Fujita would begin to work on Gannosuke's often injured knee, and Gannosuke have to reach for the ropes for the break. Gannosuke would back with a Riki Choshu Lariat, but when he would go for the Scorpion Death Lock, Fujita would grab and turn his knee to continue damaging it. Gannosuke would once again grab the ropes to break the move. Gannosuke would follow up with a Praying Powerbomb to Fujita, but only would get a two count. Fujita would get up and deliver a flying dropkick at Gannosuke, but as he would go for the two count and Gannosuke would kick out, Fujita would grab Gannosuke's ankle and apply the ankle lock with Gannosuke once again grabbing the ropes. Fujita would pick Gannosuke up, and as he would attempt another Dragon Screw, Gannosuke would manage to counter with an enziguri to the back of Fujita's head. Gannosuke would attempt to deliver a German Supplex to Fujita but would end up getting kicked low and rolled up by Fujita for a two count. Fujita would then hit the ropes and run at Gannosuke, but would end up getting caught and hit with the Fire Thunder by Gannosuke, but it would take too long for Gannosuke to make the cover and would only get a two as a result. Fujita would try to lariat Gannosuke, but it would not phase him and Gannosuke would deliver an even more vicious lariat to score the pinfall victory over Fujita and keep his hot streak alive earning him 6 points.

Gannosuke who had started out in last place was now hoping be in first place of the Round Robin Tournament on January 23, 2005 at the Tokyo Takenotsuka Battle Sphere taking on Garuda. The trend would continue as Garuda would attack Gannosuke with a dropkick before the bell would ring to gain the early advantage. Garuda would get in a punching fight with Gannosuke with Garuda landing a punch knocking Gannosuke out of the ring. Garuda would follow with a dive over the top rope right onto Gannosuke. But as Garuda would try for an Asai Moonsault to the outside on Gannosuke, Gannosuke would throw a chair right at Garuda's injured knee to make sure that didn't happen. Gannosuke would grab the chair and begin smashing it over Garuda's knee brace. Gannosuke would begin to continuously smash Garuda's knee of the turnbuckle and then throw him in the ring and put the figure four leglock on Garuda with Garuda having to grab the ropes to break the move. Gannosuke would go after Garuda with a lariat, but Garuda would move out of the way and deliver a German Supplex to Gannosuke, but Gannosuke would get right up after deliver a lariat to Garuda. Gannosuke would then climb the top turnbuckle with Garuda and deliver a Superplex off the top rope for the two count. Gannosuke would then attempt the Praying Powerbomb, but Garuda would turn it into a hurricanrana, but once again Gannosuke would make it up first and deliver a lariat to Garuda. Gannosuke would hit another Powerbomb, followed by a Scorpion Death Lock forcing Garuda to have to tap for the Gannosuke victory. It would be Gannosuke's fourth straight win putting him in the lead of everyone else in the Round Robin Tournament at 8 points.

After a slow start Gannosuke was on fire with four straight wins, and looking for his fifth. Gannosuke would face Onryo on February 19, 2005 with a win putting into the finals of the Round Robin Tournament. Onryo like all the others would attack Gannosuke before the bell would ring, throwing dust in his face, and then kicking Gannosuke's leg from under him and going for the Onryo Clutch right at the start, but Gannosuke would steal the Onryo trademark of grabbing the referee's hand before the three count to avoid the quick loss. Onryo would climb the top rope, but Gannosuke would catch him, and attempt a Fire Thunder that Onryo would be able to get away from. Gannosuke would charge at Onryo with a lariat, but as Onryo would move out of the way, Gannosuke would nail the referee instead. With the referee down, Gannosuke would nail Onryo with a lariat, followed up with a Scorpion Death Lock which would be pointless with the referee knocked out. Gannosuke would nail a Falcon Arrow, but still no referee. Gannosuke would throw Onryo into a stack of chairs in the crowd, and then smash an umbrella from the ground at Onryo. Gannosuke would begin to even choke Onryo with the umbrella, but as Gannosuke would attempt to throw Onryo back in the ring, Onryo would go low on Gannosuke and attempt to throw Gannosuke into the turnbuckle, but Gannosuke would reverse it and send Onryo into it instead. Gannosuke would then charge at Onryo with a lariat, but Onryo would move out of the way causing Gannosuke to clothesline the turnbuckle. That would be the turning of the match as Onryo would grab a chair and begin to go after Gannosuke with it. Gannosuke would fight back with shoulder pains, but still manage to hit a Praying Powerbomb on Onryo, but Onryo this time would catch the referees hand to prevent the three count. Gannosuke upset at the referee would shove him out of the way out of frustration as Onryo would once again throw dust at Gannosuke's face, and kick his legs out from under him. But instead Onryo would grab Gannosuke's shoulder and place the 66 Lock on Gannosuke forcing the pain to be too much and Gannosuke would tap out ending his winning streak at four and finishing up with 8 points. As a result of the loss, he would tie with Mammoth Sasaki, Garuda, and Soldier for the lead forcing there to be two playoff matches with the winners facing off in the finals of the Round Robin Tournament. Mr. Gannosuke's playoff match would be against Mammoth Sasaki.

Gannosuke would face off against Mammoth Sasaki once again on February 20, 2005 at the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere for the right to face Soldier in the main event and the finals of the Round Robin Tournament after he had defeated Garuda already on the show. Gannosuke would once again, just like in every match be ambushed before the bell as Mammoth would charge Gannosuke with a chair smashing it over his back. Mammoth would throw Gannosuke at the ropes, but Gannosuke would come back with a dropkick sending the chair Mammoth was holding into his face. Mammoth would end up flying into the crowd, as Gannosuke would begin throwing every chair he could find at Mammoth. Gannosuke would brawl with Mammoth around the ringside area until Mammoth could find a chair, but before he could use it, Gannosuke would find himself a chair and the two would again have another dueling chair fight with Gannosuke once again coming out on top. Gannosuke would stack all the chairs on the ground once again, and bodyslam Mammoth on to them. Mammoth would begin crawling under the ring, and begin bringing out trash cans to ringside, as well as a ladder as he would smash the ladder over Gannosuke's back. Mammoth would then place a trash can over Gannosuke's head and smack it using the other trash can. Mammoth would then place a ladder against the ring and a table as well put Gannosuke on the table as well. Gannosuke though would go low when Mammoth would climb on the table, and deliver a Fire Thunder on the table sending Mammoth's head into the ladder. Gannosuke would follow up nailing a lariat as it would be revealed Mammoth had been busted open. Gannosuke would then grab Mammoth and take him out of the Takenotsuka Battle Sphere and once again begin brawling out on the streets of Tokyo. Gannosuke would throw Mammoth head first into a back of a sixteen wheel truck. Gannosuke would then place a cone over Mammoth's head and deliver the Mammoth Home Run to Mammoth by smashing another cone over Mammoth's head. Gannosuke would throw Mammoth head first into a gate once again before bringing the match back to the building and stacking chairs in the ring. Gannosuke would try to deliver a Praying Powerbomb to Mammoth, but Mammoth would over power Gannosuke to hit a Spine Buster on Gannosuke sending the back of Gannosuke's head extremely hard into the chairs. Gannosuke would begin screaming in pain. Mammoth would go for the kill and deliver a powerbomb onto the stack of chairs. Gannosuke would manage to kick out, but still in obvious pain as Mammoth would go for a lariat, but Gannosuke would catch him and attempt a Gannosuke Clutch, but Mammoth would once again overpower him and throw Gannosuke into the stack of chairs. Mammoth would then deliver a 29 Years Old on the stack of chairs, but Gannosuke would manage to kick out. Mammoth would have enough of it, as he would place a chair over Gannosuke's head and deliver the Mammoth Home Run, followed by a chair to the back of Gannosuke's injured head, followed with a running lariat to score the victory and end Gannosuke's chances of winning the Round Robin Tournament. The cut from the back of Gannosuke's head would be deepen with the hard blows to it and blood would begin running down Gannosuke's face hardway as he would assisted and taken to an ambulance to take him to a hospital to stay over night. Mammoth as a result of the hard war would not stand much of a chance in his next chance, and Soldier would end up winning the WMF Round Robin Tournament.

As a result of winning the Round Robin Tournament, Soldier was given one wish. His wish were to bring in IWC friends Balls Mahoney and Shirley Doe to challenge WMF. Soldier would personally team with Balls Mahoney on April 1, 2005 at the Tokyo Shin-Kiba 1st Ring against Gannosuke and new WMF member Gosaku Goshogawara with Balls getting the victory over Gosaku with the Nutcrackers Suite. Mr. Gannosuke would come with a little more talented partner two days later on April 3, 2005 at the Saitama Pepe Hall Atlas when he would team with Kensuke Sasaki to take on Soldier and Balls Mahoney. Sasaki would take many chops at Soldier's chest, and Gannosuke finish off Balls by hooking him into the Gannosuke Clutch for the victory for the new team of Gannosuke and Kensuke Sasaki.

Due to former FMW wrestler Sabu's hard times after get real sick taking a bad steroid in Puerto Rico and then not having the money to pay for the hospital bills, many of the former FMW wrestlers and agreed to join together to put on two benefit shows put on by Sumie Sakai for Sabu to make money to pay for the hospital bills. The shows would be called WE LOVE SABU and they would take place on April 17, 2005 at the Tokyo Differ Ariake. Mr. Gannosuke and Kintaro Kanemura would put their differences aside to book the shows along with Sakai, although Gannosuke and his WMF wrestlers would mostly work the first show, with Kanemura's Apache guys working the second show. Gannosuke would team up with former Funk Masters of Wrestling friend Shark Tsuchiya and The Winger to take on the team of Seiji Ikeda, Sumie Sakai, and Eddie Edwards on the first show. Gannosuke and Ikeda would go up against one another first with Ikeda showing respect for Sabu by placing Gannosuke in the Camel Clutch. Shark Tsuchiya would end up making the difference as she would use her scythe on Ikeda and begin carving away at his forehead, causing blood to drip all over Ikeda like crazy. Shark would also end up scoring the victory as she would pin Sumie Sakai with the Shark Bomb for the win for Gannosuke's team.

Gannosuke would team up with Kensuke Sasaki once again to face the team of Mammoth Sasaki and Seiji Ikeda on May 15, 2005 at the Osaka Delfin Arena. Kensuke Sasaki would face off against Ikeda and begin chopping him until his chest would be beat red, while Gannosuke would go up against Mammoth and deliver a Praying Powerbomb for the two count. Mammoth would counter Gannosuke, and deliver a Powerbomb with Ikeda coming off the top rope and delivering a senton. Both Mammoth and Ikeda would make the cover, but Sasaki would end up making the save for Gannosuke. Ikeda would try to finish off Gannosuke with a lariat, but Gannosuke would catch him and roll Ikeda up with the Gannosuke Clutch for the victory.

It would be announced on May 31, 2005 that Laing, Inc. would no longer be financially supporting WMF due to so much money loss with the project over the almost three years. Gannosuke would announce that he would personally keep the promotion running by promoting the shows himself with his own money. Gosaku Goshogawara would also put up his own money and help promote the shows as well. Gannosuke would announce the first show promoted by him would take place on July 31, 2005 in the final battle between he and Mammoth Sasaki in a Barbed wire Street Fight. Gannosuke personally would not have many other options as Kanemura had made friends or benefited through loyalship from friends of Kodo Fuyuki who blocked Gannosuke from any of the WMF wrestlers being able to work any major promotion in Japan.
